FIELD: chemistry of polymers, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology for preparing modified synthetic materials, in particular, grafted copolymers of polycaproamide. Invention describes a method for preparing the grafted copolymer of polycaproamide by treatment of activated polycaproamide fiber with monomer aqueous solution at heating and in the ratio of fiber mass to mass of treating solution = 1:30, washing out and drying. For treatment 10-40% aqueous solution of monomer representing phosphorus-borone-containing methacrylate of the general formula:
wherein n = 1-8 is used and treatment is carried out at temperature 70-90°C for 60 min followed by washing out with water and drying. Method provides increasing the static exchangeable capacity of fiber value that results to enhancing extraction of metal ions from waste. Invention can be used for preparing ion-exchange fibers in aim for their using as fibrous sorbent in treatment of waste from metal ions.
EFFECT: improved preparing method.
