SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermoplastic polymer comprising block of thermoplastic polymer and at least one block of polyalkylene oxide. Block of thermoplastic polymer comprises: macromolecular chain of stellate or H-like form comprising at least one polyfunctional core and at least one by-side chain or one segment of thermoplastic polymer bound with a core. Core comprises at least three similar functional reaction groups or linear macromolecular chain comprising one bifunctional core and at least one segment of thermoplastic polymer bound with the core. Block or blocks of polyalkylene oxide are bound at least with one part of free terminal groups of thermoplastic polymer block by the following manner: at least one free terminal group of macromolecular chain of stellate or H-like form taken among terminal groups of by-side chain or segment of thermoplastic polymer and terminal groups of polyfunctional core is bound with polyalkylene oxide block and/or at least one free terminal group of linear macromolecular chain taken among terminal groups of segment of thermoplastic polymer and terminal groups of bifunctional core is bound with polyalkylene oxide block. Two free terminal groups of linear macromolecular chain are bound with polyalkylene oxide blocks if block of thermoplastic polymer comprises macromolecular chains of linear type only. Also, invention relates to a method for preparing thermoplastic polymer, using thermoplastic polymer, polymeric thermoplastic composition, threads, fibers and filaments, textile article and article. Invention provides preparing thermoplastic polymer possessing the stable hydrophilic properties and retaining mechanical properties.
