FIELD: radio communications engineering, possible implementation for power adjustment in wireless communication systems.

SUBSTANCE: transmission source, for example, base station, receives from receiving device, for example, remote terminal, several check communication messages, including one or more bit flows (encoded or non-encoded) and, possibly, one or more messages. Bit flow can include one or more power control sub-channels, implemented for sending of one or more metrics (for example, power control commands, erasing indicator bits or quality indicator bits) for one or more channel groups. Bits, assigned to each sub-channel, can be grouped to form one or more low-speed sub-flows of check communication with increased reliability. Transmission power of two or more channels can be adjusted independently on basis of check communication message from appropriate sub-channels, or can be adjusted jointly on basis of check communication message from one sub-channel, and difference of powers is compensated on basis of check communication message from another sub-channel.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of power control over multiple transmissions.
