FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: in the method, control channel is used to transmit control data. The channel is divided into multiple subchannels each one of which works at preset data transmission rate. For each of one or more user terminals, one of the subchannels is selected on the basis of one or more choice criterions for transmission of control data from access point to corresponding user terminal. Control data is transmitted from access point to user terminal via particular subchannel selected for corresponding user terminal. In the user channel, the mentioned one or more subchannels are decoded to obtain control data intended for the user terminal.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of using channels capacity.
