FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for separating of soil crumbs from roots in potato, onion or tomato harvesting combines.
SUBSTANCE: separator has driving and driven shafts mounted on frame and embraced with endless web. Endless web is defined by parallel pulling members with transverse rods therebetween. Separator is equipped with soil crumb and root divider, endless rubberized web, mechanism for changing longitudinal angle of inclination of frame relative to horizontal plane, and mechanism for changing position of driven shaft. Soil crumb and root divider is made in the form of blade positioned for changing angle of inclination relative to horizontal plane, behind driving shaft. Endless rubberized web is disposed on driving and driven shafts by means of drums. Rubberized web is enclosed in endless web defined by parallel pulling members with transverse rods movable in direction coinciding with direction of advancement of heap to be cleaned along supports positioned at different angles of inclination relative to horizontal plane. Angle of inclination of supports relative to horizontal plane of feeding part is greater than said angle in the vicinity of dividing part. Mechanism for changing longitudinal angle of inclination of frame to horizontal plane is defined by links kinematically connected with each other through pivot joints. One of said links may be fixed in certain positions on separator frame. Mechanism for changing position of driven shaft has pair of bars coupled to frame hollow parts through screw pair. Supports having different inclination angles are joined along arcs of part of circles. Radius of arcs of supports is greater by 6-12 times the radius of drums of endless rubberized web. Each of transverse rods of endless web is connected to respective pulling member through pulling member links offset and deflected from perpendicular position by means of pair of planks.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing full separation of soil crumbs from roots, and improved quality of roots.
