FIELD: shipbuilding; manufacture of collapsible boats.
SUBSTANCE: boat has fore and aft sections articulated together. In folded position, fore section is placed on aft section behind tow bar secured to extensible spar. Spar secured to frame may be extended to give support for fore section of boat in unfolded position.
EFFECT: increased longitudinal rigidity; reduction of dimensions of boat in folded position during towing and stowage.
