FIELD: oil production industry, particularly to repair injection wells.
SUBSTANCE: method involves lifting tubing string; injecting non-freezing liquid in the well and topping-up the well during tubing string lifting. Non-freezing liquid is supplied into water conduit, which stands idle during well repair and which is used as temporary vessel. The non-freezing liquid volume is equal to that of tubing string to be lifted from the well. Non-freezing liquid is used for topping up the well as tubing string moves upwards.
EFFECT: prevention of overground injection well water conduit freezing and simplified maintenance of liquid level at well head during tubing string lifting.
