FIELD: aircraft industry; two-engine aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed oil tank of two-engine aircraft is made of two chambers arranged at different sides relative to vertical symmetry plane of engine and communicating through oil and air spaces. One of chambers consists of two compartments with common air space. Oil intake for delivery pump is arranged in one compartment, and other compartment is connected in its lower part with pipeline connecting oil spaces of chambers. At least one channel communicates said compartments in their lower parts.
EFFECT: improved reliability and stability of operation of oil tank owing to leveling up oil in both chambers, separation of air from oil and prevention of air getting to delivery pump inlet.
