FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engine testing to determine turbine serviceability. Major problems of gas turbine engine oil system are caused by long aerobatics which is related with engine long-term oil starvation conditions. Reproducing said conditions in flight, that is aboard flying lab, may cause destruction of high-cost test complex since tested engine normally does no feature sufficient reliability. Proposed method consists in that reproduction of engine long-term oil starvation conditions corresponding to those of long aerobatics is carried on ground at test bench with simulation of flight conditions at negative loads or in inverted flight.
EFFECT: lower costs, higher efficiency.
