METHOD AND A DEVICE FOR COMPACTION OF A LIQUID Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F17C5/02

Abstract RU 2267693 C2

FIELD: rocket fuel; systems of cooling and compaction of liquids; methods and devices for compaction of liquids.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to a system of cooling and compaction of a liquid. The system of cooling and compaction of a liquid contains: an inlet liquid feeding pipeline; a heat-exchange tank having a lot of located inside it heat-exchange tubes, each of which is used for a liquid passing through and is connected with the inlet liquid feeding pipeline; an outlet pipeline connected to each of the heat-exchange tubes with a capability for a liquid passing through; the first inlet channel connected to the heat-exchange tank for inlet feeding of the first component of a heat-exchange bath into the internal space of the heat-exchange tank and getting in contact with the external surface of the heat-exchange tubes; and the second inlet channel connected to a heat-exchange tank for inlet of the second component of the heat-exchange bath, which is distinct from the first component, into the external space of the heat-exchange tank and getting in contact with the external surface of the heat-exchange tubes. The secondary component has the boiling point, which is below than the boiling point of the primary component, and both temperatures are below, than the boiling point of the cryogenic liquid. Utilization of the invention will allow to develop a simple, low-budget and a reliable system of compaction of a rocket propellant.

EFFECT: the invention ensures development of a simple, low-budget and a reliable system of compaction of a rocket propellant.
