FIELD: solar radiation engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the heater can be used in hot water supply systems. Solar air heater has collector made in form of pipe coil, inlet and outlet fittings, transparent fence and case provided with cap. Cells are mounted onto pipe coil of collector which cells are filled with heat-accumulating matter being capable of making a change of phase at the area of working temperatures of heater. Pipe coil is oriented to sunbeams to get full usage of their warmth. Layer of pebbles is disposed onto bottom of the case. Shadowy sides of case have mirror coating on inner side. Electric-contact thermometer is mounted onto outlet fitting. Thermometer is connected with electromagnet valve coil through electric circuit. Valve is mounted onto hot water pipeline.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of application of solar energy.
