FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical drum secured on shaft through pins, and replaceable gauging screens. Apparatus is composed of multiplicity of similar crescent-shaped buckets-sorters fixed to outer surface of cylindrical drum. Each of buckets-sorters consists of taking-in part made in the form of flat knife fixed between two wedge-shaped sides-dividers, and crescent-shaped sorting chamber comprising two similar sides. Replaceable sorting screens, front and rear dead walls are disposed between sides with required space therebetween. Spaces between walls define channels of rectangular section having sizes providing free passage of components of material under separation process.
EFFECT: simplified construction and improved operating characteristics of apparatus.
