FIELD: grinding of hard alloys, alloyed steels.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of electric-physical and chemical action upon part in zone of its contact with grinding wheel and upon wheel in zone of its electric contact with dressing electrode; controlling processes of grinding and dressing due to changing electrical parameters; during working process measuring specific pressure of abrasive wheel on part and changing density of electric current supplied to abrasive wheel through dressing electrode in proportion with measured pressure in range 0.3 - 0.7 A/dm2.

EFFECT: enhanced stability of abrasive working due to continuous operation of wheel in self-sharpening mode, improved quality of ground surface.
