FIELD: domestic chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polishing compositions used for paint and varnish coating care applied on metallic surface of articles and subjected for atmosphere and exploitation effects. Polishing composition comprises wax, emulsifying additive, alcohol, hydrocarbon solvent, natural fatty acid, amine, water and, additionally, mixture of silicon oils with viscosity value from 300 to 1000 cSt, inorganic additive as dispersed particles organobentonite of size (1 x 10³)-(3 x 10⁴) E prepared in modification of bentonite at temperature 100°C, not above, with 3-6% aqueous solution of cationic surface-active substance of the formula (1):

As an emulsifying addition method involves using linear polymers of molecular mass = (70-160) x 10³ Da and di- or triethanolamine as amine source in components are taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: wax, 4.5-6.5; emulsifying additive, 0.1-0.35; hydrocarbon solvent, 12-18; alcohol, 1-3; natural fatty acid, 3-5; di- or triethanolamine, 1-3; mixture of silicon oils, 2-3; inorganic additive, 0.01-0.04, and water, the balance. Proposed polishing composition improves its uniformity of its disposition in polishing, penetrating capacity into surface micropores and microcracks that promotes to enhancing strength of coating formed and improvement of preserve-protective effect on paint and varnish surfaces by the moisture resistance and atmosphere resistance indices.
