FIELD: petrochemical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of hydrocarbon residues, in particular to hydrovisbreaking of petroleum and gas condensate residues. Method consists in that petroleum and gas condensate residue is heated in feed-heating furnace to 350-400°C. Separately, hydrogen-containing gas is heated in hydrogen-heating furnace to 700-800°C. Preheated feedstock and hydrogen-containing gas are combined at gas-to-feedstock volume ratio 600-1000 hm3/m3. Resulting mixture is then subjected to hydrovisbreaking in reaction chamber.
EFFECT: reduced coking of reaction equipment and, due to 4-8% reduction in useful heat power of furnaces, lowered power consumption.
