FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of oil refining and may be used to clean kerosene fractions from mercaptans. Invention is related to method for demercaptanisation of kerosene fractions by means of raw materials and hydrogen contact in zone of preliminarily treated catalyst. Contact is carried out in counterflow mode at the temperature of 220-230°C, volumetric speed of raw materials supply of 5-7 hour-1, ratio of hydrogen/raw materials (30-50):1 nm3/m3, with further removal of light hydrocarbons and hydrogen sulfide, besides specified operations are carried out in the same reactor.
EFFECT: extent of mercaptan compounds removal from kerosene in proposed method makes 94-95%, practically not involving other sulfury compounds, as a result of which produced fuel has high thermal-oxidative stability and lubricating properties.
