RESILIENT TORSION COUPLING Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F16D3/56

Abstract RU 2268414 C2

FIELD: machinery building, particularly to transmit rotational movement between rotary parts, particularly in shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: torsion coupling comprises two half-couplings connected with each other through torsion. Driven half-coupling is formed of composite material and is shaped as reel with two flanges. One flange is made as corrugated membrane to compensate axial displacement. The torsion is made as shaft. Leading half-coupling is made as steel plate or membrane to compensate transversal motion.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of axial and transversal movement compensation and acoustic energy absorption.
