FIELD: transport engineering; automobile and tractor engineering; production of automotive vehicles differential.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to production of automotive vehicles differentials and may be used in transport engineering and automobile and tractor engineering for provision of a cross-country capacity of the transport vehicles at movement on a slippery highway pavement and off-highway. The differential contains a hollow body 1, a rotating differential cross 2 with two differential pinions 3, differential half-axle gears 5 and 6, two three-gear units 4. Each unit consists of an aligned with the cross of the rod with three shafts and mounted on them established on them and being in serial engagement of three conical gears. The two extreme conical gears are engaged with the differential half-axle gears 5 and 6. The invention provides an automatic redistribution of the torques between a motor vehicle wheels depending on variation of their cohesion with road surface. The technical result of the invention is simplification of the differential design, provision of cross-country capacity during a transport vehicle movement on the highway-off or on a slippery road without interlocking of the driven wheels.
EFFECT: the invention ensures simplification of the differential design, provision of cross-country capacity during a transport vehicle movement on the highway-off or on a slippery road without interlocking of the driven wheels.
