FIELD: cooling equipment, particularly sorption machines, plants or systems operating continuously and used in domestic and industrial refrigerators.
SUBSTANCE: method involves evaporating strong solution in generator; supplying ammonia-water steam from the generator into pipe of refluxer adapted to separate condensate by reducing specific heat load supplied to ammonia-water steam along with returning the separated condensate to generator and supplying free of water ammonia steam to condenser. Specific heat load reduction is performed by passing the steam through channel along with sudden expansion thereof at condenser exit without heat rejection to ambient space. Absorption-diffusion refrigeration unit comprises condenser, evaporator, refluxer pipe, absorber, boiler, heat-insulated generator, thermosiphon, liquid heat-exchanger and receiver. Vessel with sudden cross-sectional expansion having heat-insulation similar to that of the refluxer pipe is installed between the refluxer pipe and condenser.
EFFECT: increased performance coefficient of absorption-diffusion refrigeration unit.
