FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in absorption-diffusion cooling units (ADCU). ADCU operating method includes evaporation of strong solution in strong solution tube with vapour recovery by passing it through strong solution with its further being led together with weak solution through thermal siphon to vapour cavity of weak solution tube. Evaporation of weak solution in weak solution tube is performed by supplying vapour to vapour cavity of this tube. Additional vapour recovery of weak solution tube is performed by passing it through weak solution which is taken from thermal siphon outlet and hydraulic seal is created out of it in vapour cavity of weak solution tube. In ADCU operating method there performed at least twice is additional vapour recovery in thermal siphon by passing it through strong solution, which is extracted in thermal siphon and uniformly and in-series located hydraulic seals are created out of it in cavity of thermal siphon.
EFFECT: increasing thermodynamic effectiveness of ADCU operating method.
