FIELD: the turbopolarimeter refers to polarimeter arrangements for measuring of optical activity of substances, for industrial control and scientific researches in analytical chemistry, biotechnology and medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the turbopolarimeter has successively installed a source of radiation, a polarizer, a cuvette for the sample and also connected with a microprocessor a sensor of comparison of intensity of orthogonal polarized components of radiation passed through a measuring cuvette. An optical sensor of zero reading and an electric engine with an arrangement installed on its shaft for transmission of rotation on a flywheel in whose pivotal channel a polarizer is attached. The arrangement for transmission of rotation on a flywheel has a noncontact current collector with an immobile and a rotating parts, the magnetic circuit of the rotating part is firmly connected with the flywheel on which the source of radiation is installed. A magnetic reader interactive with a magnetic mark is linked up to the gating input of the microprocessor.
EFFECT: increases accuracy of measuring of optical activity due to reducing the influence of partial polarization of radiation.
