FIELD: vibrational engineering; generators of hydrodynamic vibrations.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of vibrational engineering, in particular, to a generator of hydrodynamic vibrations and may be used for intensification of the processes taking place in fluid mediums, namely at purification of natural waters and sewage. The generator of generator of hydrodynamic vibrations contains a body, which has an inlet and outlet nozzles, a cavitational toroidal chamber and also a groove, in which there is a device of the secondary cavitation made in the form of a ring. The body has holes for the air (gas) or the fluid leak-in, or the air (gas) and the fluid leak-in simultaneously. The inlet nozzle is made with a shift concerning the axis of rotation of the cavitational toroidal chamber, that allows to increase amount of the fluid getting into the cavitational toroidal chamber, and results in formation of a skew- streaming flow inside the chamber. It enlarges the length of a contact of the transiting spray with the water vortex fields, increases the frictional force swirling the fluid in the vacuity of the generator, and as a result of it brings to a decrease of the cavitation number.

EFFECT: the invention allows to increase the length of the transiting spray contact with the water vortex fields increasing the frictional force swirling the fluid in the vacuity of the generator, to decrease the cavitation number.
