FIELD: manufacturing processes in radio electronics, possibly small-size automatic machines for surface mounting.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding articles in bulk towards single-duct cartridge; before filling cartridge with articles turning it by 180° and then successively feeding articles to cartridge; providing oriented succession of articles in cartridge due to gravity action; returning cartridge to initial position; discharging articles piece-by-piece from cartridge. Said cartridge is in the form of closed linear body having openings in lower part at both sides. One of said openings is no less than size of article; other opening has lowered size but both openings are formed along the whole width of linear cartridge.
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of small-size automatic machines for surface mounting.
