SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fundamentally new small-size automatic surfaced-mounting devices. According to proposed method, line train articles are arranged in reception zone for subsequent transfer to common carrier by wetted surface of successive set of transfer elements which is made for rotation. Each transfer element is made for reciprocal displacement for receiving the articles and mounting or fixing them in corresponding positions on common carrier. Additional reception zone is formed. Common carrier installed for longitudinal displacement is arranged between main and additional zones. After cycle of reception of articles by wetted surface of transfer elements, reception zones are simultaneously or successively turned towards each other through preset angle, and articles in zone of reception are displaced in direction of articles which have been removed by transfer elements after which reception zones are returned in initial position. Device for implementing the method contains design units indicated above.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of small size automatic surface-mounting devices at increase of speed parameters.
