FIELD: mining, particularly for well drilling and for other industries.

SUBSTANCE: clutch coupling comprises three-jaw drive and driven half-couplings arranged at drill rod ends and shank with thrust shoulder. The shank is secured inside the drive half-coupling and is restricted from longitudinal movement inside the drive half-coupling by fixer. The fixer is installed inside shank orifice and drive half-coupling orifice. The orifices are transversal to longitudinal clutch coupling axis. The shank is coaxial with drive half-coupling and has outer diameter less than inner diameter thereof by value equal to not less than double maximal jaw working face fabrication tolerance relative nominal position thereof. The shank is pivotally connected with driven half-coupling by thrust shoulder and springing thrust collar. The thrust shoulder contacts with end surface of drive half-coupling. Springing thrust ring is installed in annular grooves formed on surface defined by outer shank diameter and on surface defined by inner driven half-coupling diameter so that a gap is created between inner diameter of springing thrust ring and annular groove formed on the shank. The gap is not less than that between outer shank diameter and inner half-coupling diameter. Height of thrust shoulder formed on shank and depth of springing thrust collar seating in annular groove of driven half-coupling does not exceed above gap.

EFFECT: increased reliability and service life of drill rod coupling due to increased reliability of mutual working faces cooperation during well drilling.
