SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling technology, namely, locking devices for auger flight connection during seismic operations. Auger flight latch assembly comprises a male part in the form of a pin and a female part in the form of a coupling, connected by a cylindrical thread and provided with stops. Coupling, made with an annular groove with a cuff placed therein, comprises a ring-shaped locking element welded to the end face of the coupling. Coupling locking element contains at least five cams acting as stops and forming the rear camber of the clutch at the jaws of the jaws at the junction with which a groove is formed with the working plane of the jaws located along the axis of the clutch. Nipple also comprises a ring-shaped locking element welded to its seat surface, comprising at least five cams acting as stops and forming a cam-shaped rear inclined nipple surface, in the place where it adjoins the working plane of the cams located along the axis of the nipple, a groove is made. Locking elements, when screwing the pin with the coupling, form directly the lock of the locking connection with the connecting surface with an angle of inclination less than the angle of the thread lift, and with the possibility of performing heat treatment by high frequency currents.
