FIELD: mining and other industries, particularly well drilling equipment.
SUBSTANCE: clutch coupling comprises three-jaw half-coupling members connected to rod ends and shank secured inside one half-coupling. The shank is restricted from longitudinal displacement inside another half-coupling member by means of fixer installed in orifices made in half-coupling member and shank. The orifices are transversal to longitudinal clutch coupling axis. The shank is coaxial with half-coupling member and has outer diameter less than inner half-coupling member diameter. Difference between outer shank diameter and inner half-coupling member diameter is not less than double maximal working jaw face manufacturing tolerance with respect to nominal jaw positions. Shank orifice is elongated in transversal plane so that side clearances are created between outer fixer diameter and extreme points of inner elongated orifice surface which are on horizontal line. Side clearance amount is equal to that of clearance defined between outer shank diameter and inner half-coupling member diameter. Elongated orifice width is equal to fixer diameter.
EFFECT: increased reliability and service life of drilling rod coupling to be used under difficult mining and geological conditions.
