FIELD: mechanical engineering, particularly for oil and gas production, oil refinery and other industries to design flanged and quick-disconnecting joints for well control head, main pipelines and to connect pumping units with pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: flanged connection comprises sealing metal pad inserted in end grooves between end surfaces of equipment to be connected and resilient guard collar. The guard collar is installed in inner annular groove formed in metal pad. The second guard collar is arranged in annular groove created in the metal pad. The guard collars have trapezoid cross-sections and arranged so that major trapeze base are located in corrosive medium action direction and a gap is created between side surfaces thereof and side surfaces of the annular grooves.

EFFECT: increased air-tightness and extended service life.
