FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: sealing ring is made of a flexible material and is split. The surfaces of the split are connected at an acute angle inside the body of the ring. The face surfaces of the sealing ring are inclined at an angle to the axis, and the outer and inner surfaces of the sealing ring are cylindrical. The cross-section of the split of the sealing ring is toothed from the side of the faces.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
