HIGH-EXPLOSIVE WARHEAD Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F42B12/20

Abstract RU 2269739 C1

FIELD: defense equipment, applicable in manufacture of high-precision guided projectiles, missiles or mines acting on ground targets.

SUBSTANCE: the warhead consists of two aligned blocks connected in the plane perpendicular to the warhead axis, each of them has a body, main explosive charge, blasting device. Placed in the air gap between the blocks are an intermediate charge, blasting device of the head block with a target transducer actuated at small angles of approach to the target surface, and a safety-actuating mechanism, whose final unit is positioned close to the intermediate charge connected to the transfer charges located in the ducts of the blocks. The transfer charges are separated from the main charges by explosion-isolating spacers, they provide for transfer of the initiating impulse to the additional detonators of both blocks with a preset diversification, the intermediate and transfer charges are connected according to the diode circuit preventing the transfer of the initiating impulse in the reverse direction. The blasting device of the bottom block with the target transducer, operating at angles of approach close to the normal, is positioned on the rear end of the block, if viewed in on the rear end of the block, if viewed in the flight direction. At least two additional charges made of an explosive having a higher sensitivity to impact than the explosive of the main charge are positioned on the rear end of the head block.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the ammunition due to the control of the parameters of high-explosive action.
