FIELD: military equipment, applicable in jet projectiles of salvo-fire systems, artillery, aviation and naval projectiles, as well as in other high-explosive ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: the high-explosive ammunition has a body, explosive charge positioned in a metal shell with bottoms and a blasting device installed on one of the shell bottoms, the explosive charge is made composite in the form of coaxially positioned fastened central and peripheral explosive charges, whose relation of diameters is within DBB1/DBB2 =0.55-0.65, where DBB1, DBB2 - the diameters of the central and peripheral charges respectively.
EFFECT: enhanced speed of scattering of fragments of the outer shell, enhanced maximum pierced thickness of the obstacle; enhanced efficiency of fragmentation action of the ammunition.
