FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyors.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for transporting loose loads over large distances. Proposed slat conveyor has conveyor flight with posts to support sections of slats and chute. Each slat is installed for turning in vertical plane around axle rigidly secured on conveyor flight and passing through hole on one end slat whose other end is provided with cantilever crossmember rounded off to radius R equal to length of slat and provided with slat displacement stop fitted on end of cantilever crossmember. Each section is furnished with one of several flexible members working in compression, one end of which is rigidly secured on one end of slat, and the other, on displacement stop of following section of slat. Conveyor is provided also with two elastic closed envelopes secured between upper support and ribs of conveyor flight and slat, and with apron arranged between chute and side surface of slat. Chute is rigidly secured on conveyor flight. Conveyor is furnished with compressed air source, working and discharge air conduits and synchronizers coupled with conduits, each being connected with two elastic closed envelopes. Angle α of slat turning in vertical plane is taken within 16° and 20°. Each synchronizer consists of working and discharge cocks-air distributors rigidly secured on lower support of conveyor flight, inputs and outputs of which are coupled with working and discharge air conduits and alternatively with each of two elastic closed envelopes through branch pipes. Working and discharge cocks-air distributors are hinge-connected with slats through rods. Slat displacement stops are arranged on fixed chute of conveyor, and flexible members working in extension are connected with lower support of conveyor flight and cantilever crossmember. Elastic envelope can be made of rubber cord in form of torus, ball, ellipsoid of rotation, or cushion.
EFFECT: increased length of conveyor, reduced power consumption for transportation of load.
