FIELD: adhesives in rubber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to attaching vulcanized polychloroprene-based rubber parts to each other and consists in that rubber surfaces to be joined are smeared with nirite- or neoprene-based glue combined with butylphenol-formaldehyde resin. Prior to be applied, glue is modified with additional substance containing glycidyl methacrylate and aniline production bottom waste at weight ratio (50-70):(30-50) added in amount 0.1-0.5 wt parts per 100 wt parts glue. Once smeared with glue, rubber surfaces are dried for 1-2 min at ambient temperature to form glue film. Contact of surfaces to be joined is provided by loading for 24 h.
EFFECT: increased strength of glue joint, simplified gluing technology, and reused petrochemical production waste.
