FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of gluing vulcanised rubber to each other. The method of gluing vulcanised rubber to each other involves applying onto the glued surfaces an adhesive based on polychloroprene rubber combined with butylphenol-formaldehyde resin and a modifier. The modifier is added to the adhesive before application onto the surface, followed drying of the adhesive film at room temperature and bringing the glued surfaces into contact under a load. The modifier used is modified basalt fibre with size of 5-10 mcm, which is pretreated at temperature of 80°C for 4 hours with a mixture of methylphosphite borate and triethanolamine.
EFFECT: method increases strength when gluing vulcanised rubber to each other.
