FIELD: food processing industry, production of bioactive food supplements.

SUBSTANCE: claimed bioactive food supplement contains chitosan of polyfractional composition and dehydrated plant teas in complex form. Complex contains plant-origin lectins and chitosan amine groups having molecular weight from monomer unit (namely glucosamine) to approximately 350 kDa and deacetylation ratio from 68 to 95 %. Plant-origin lectins are extracted from plant tea at temperature of 65°C or less for 1-48 under recurrent agitation in ratio extractive medium/plant tea of (6-7):1.

EFFECT: bioactive food supplement of increased antibacterial properties, immunocorrective action, and prolonged action of phytocomponents.
