FIELD: medicine, juvenile gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with predicting gastric and duodenal ulcerous disease in children and teenagers. One should detect the following clinical signs: nocturnal gastric pains, hunger gastric pains, severe rare gastric pains, heartburn, acidic belching, and in case of availability of, at least, one of the above-mentioned signs or anxiety symptoms it is possible to conclude upon the necessity to conduct esophagogastroduodenoscopy urgently, if these signs are not available the necessity for carrying out esophagogastroduodenoscopy should be discussed on finishing the course of dyspepsia treatment. The innovation enables to decrease diagnostic loading and, thus, the expenses for detecting one case of ulcerous disease and decrease the chance for the development of complications.
EFFECT: improved diagnostics and prognosis of the disease.
