COMPOSITE MATERIAL RESILIENT IN ONE DIRECTION AND STRETCHABLE IN ANOTHER DIRECTION Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B32B5/00

Abstract RU 2270758 C2

FIELD: chemical industry; production of laminate material made out of the thermoplastic fabric.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of chemical industry, in particular, to production of laminate material made out of the thermoplastic fabric, which tightly abuts onto a body of the user. The laminate fabric is resilient in the longitudinal direction and stretchable but inelastic in the transversal direction and includes the first non-woven fabric, which at action of a tensile force is stretchable in the transversal direction up to the width in the expanded state, which at least by 25 % exceeds the width in the non-stretched state, and in 60 seconds after completion of the tensile force action is shrinking by the value making from 0 up to no more than 30 % from the difference between the width in the expanded and in the non-stretched states. A multitude of the resilient elements linked with the non-woven fabric and being elongated in the main and the longitudinal direction, in which the resilient elements are linked with the laminate material in a multitude of located at some space from each other positions and the resilient elements are in the stretched state for making the laminate material elastic in the longitudinal direction, not making the laminate material elastic in the transversal direction. In the other version of realization the laminate material being resilient in the longitudinal direction and stretchable, but non-elastic in the transversal direction includes a film, which at action of the stretching force is stretchable in the transversal direction up to width in the expanded state, which at least by 25 % is exceeding its width in the non-stretched state, and in 60 seconds after completion of the stretching force action is shrinking by the value making from 0 up to no more than 30 % from the difference between the width in the stretched state and in the non-stretched state, and a multitude of the linked with the film resilient elements elongating in the main and transversal direction, in which the resilient elements are linked with the laminate material in the multitude spaced by some distance from each other positions and resilient elements are in the stretched state for making the laminate material elastic in the longitudinal direction not making the laminate material elastic in the transversal direction. The laminate material is selectively stretched only on those sections, on which the stretching is necessary and abuts in accordance with the form of the body of the user.

EFFECT: the invention ensures, that the laminate material is selectively stretched only on those sections, on which the stretching is necessary and abuts in accordance with the form of the body of the user.
