FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed railway is designed to provide movement of vehicles equipped with rail-railless transport device with combination power plant at mains power supply. It is laid in roadbed and consists of metal guide rail for rail-railless transport device with combination power plant. Metal guide rail has longitudinal channel of width and depth of 30 mm with 5 mm-thick walls and base of 100 mm which and thickness (height) of 5 mm and metal rail for running of metal wheels of rail-railless transport device with combination power plant on to metal guide rail for rail-railless transport device with combination power plant. Metal rail has longitudinal channel with width of 170 mm with gradual narrowing at end to 30 mm and depth of 15 mm with gradual increasing at end to 30 mm, with walls of 5 mm thickness, and base of width of 180 mm with gradual narrowing to 100 mm and thickness (height) of 5 mm, and points of track for rail-railless transport device with combination power plant. Point is provided with change-over metal rail of arrow form set into operation by radio signal through radio antenna, electronic selector and reversible electric motor. Reversing of motor is provided by sensor determining position of point, gear and movable rack with teeth in meshing with gear and electric heater precluding icing of mechanism and electrical devices of point and its failure in winter time.
EFFECT: possibility of operation of vehicle of such type at mains power supply, reduced cost of construction, repair and servicing of tracks.
