FIELD: biotechnological methods in waste water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: treatment of waste water is accomplished by adding strain Pseudomonas aeruginosa XP-25 grown on phenol and adsorbed on activated carbon and biogenic additives. Method allows purification of phenol-containing waste water to be performed at a quality level and a short period of time, in particular to remove sterically hindered alkylphenols, which are hardly subjected to biodegradation, to achieve water discharge norms existing for biological water disposal plants.
EFFECT: facilitated removal of particularly environmentally harmful phenol compounds.
