FIELD: microbiological industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents used for control of environment pollution by phenol. The novel strain Aureobacterium saperdae 6-204 is resistant in the prolonged continuous process biocatalytical degradation of phenol, it can be immobilized on turf and used in battery of 5 biofilters being each filter provides 10-fold reduction of phenol concentration. Invention provides preparing the strain Aureobacterium saperdae that is able to oxidize phenol in high concentrations (1.5-2.0 g/l) at lower temperature (15-20 C).
