FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: material of invention is destined to be used for charging biofilters used for extended purification of ecological systems polluted by phenols and phenol compounds, including waste waters. Material contains porous ceramics with branched openwork porous structure and total porosity 77-91%. Pores accommodate microorganism monoculture (0.01-10.0% by weight) matching the type of pollution. Lipophilic cell stain Rhodococcus sp. is, in particular, utilized. EFFECT: improved purification degree.
