FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic clutch comprises driving and driven clutch members, which are axially aligned and separated by means of nonmetallic double-layer shield made of a dome with flange tightly secured to the housing. The outer layer of the separating shield is composed of the cylindrical and bottom members. The cylindrical member is made of nonmetallic cloth secured to the end members. The nonmetallic cloth is covered with nonmetallic fiber coat impregnated with a compound. The end members are secured to the flange of the first layer of the separating shield from the one side, and to the bottom member from the other side. The bottom member is made of a metal. The end members are made of metallic rings. The diameter of the end member mounted on the bottom member is less than that of the end member secured to the flange of the inner coating.
EFFECT: decreased labor consumption and electromagnetic loss.
