FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: separating barrel of magnetic coupling consists of flange, shell and bottom and represents single solid part with single-layer shell baked from layers of fabric workpieces from composite materials with preliminary impregnation with thermosetting resin. As the first innermost layer in contact with the working fluid, a fluoroplastic film is used, which is laid on inner surface coated with resin of cured billet barrel of composite materials, locked again by puncheon of the same mould for thermosetting resin to be sintered once more.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the barrel, ensuring the ability of the pump to operate in aggressive liquids.
