FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has intramedullary rod, guiding member and locking screws. The rod has locking holes for receiving the locking screws. The locking holes are arranged across axis on the same side with rod end face and tip. The rod has coaxial threaded hole on the same side with end face for receiving means for coupling the rod and guiding member. The guiding member has holes for receiving trocar matching the locking holes of the rod. The rod has two curvatures arranged in plane drawn in perpendicular to plane of locking hole axes having indents on the axis from rod end face equal to 0.35 and 0.65 times rod length, respectively. The rod diameter is not greater than statistical mean diameter of adolescent medullary canal. Distance from rod end coupled with the guiding member along rod axis to the locking member nearest to the end is 6-7 times greater than rod diameter for avoiding growth zone intersection near greater trochanter base. Distance between the neighboring locking holes axes made in each rod near the end face and near the tip is not greater than three and two times diameter, respectively. Distance from locking hole axis being the nearest to the tip to the far tip end is not less than two times rod diameter.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of intramedullary osteosynthesis with age-specific orientation; high strength and reliability of osteosynthesis.
