TORQUE APPLYING SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61F2/60 A61H3/00

Abstract RU 2271176 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: system can be used for applying torque about joint relatively motionless body which is connected correspondingly for rotation by means of joints, namely, for applying external torque about foot joint, knee joint or hip joint of walker. Torque applying system has first measuring aid, second measuring aid, aid for measuring reference volume of work on the base of internal volume of work of motionless body which is measured by first measuring aid, aid for measuring external torque applied to motionless body to reduce difference between internal volume of work of motionless body which is measured by means of first measuring aid, and reference volume of work determined by means of aid for measuring reference volume of work on the base of external volume of work which is measured by means of second measuring aid, and aid for applying external torque. First measuring aid intends for measuring internal volume of work around joint which work is applied to motionless body. External torque applying aids intend for applying external torque to motionless body, which moment is defined by means of aid for measuring torque. Appropriate torque can be applied to motionless body correspondingly to situations of motions of motionless body when body makes different turns including bending of joints by means of system being able to help to motion of motionless body connected by means of joints in general with body of walker's leg.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation.
