FIELD: designed for studies in "Heat-and-masstransfer" and "Heat engineering" branches of science.
SUBSTANCE: the heat-transfer laboratory-scale plant has two chambers, the body is made rectangular of acrylic plastic of two chambers (inlet and outlet ones), a Dewar flask is installed on the outer surface of the outlet chamber, it contains water with thawing ice, the outer wall of the inlet chamber is made of aluminum foil, and a panel with incandescent lamp os installed before it, the inlet and outlet chambers are separated by the heating surface made of aluminum foil and fastened on a frame, the inlet chamber in the upper part and the outlet chamber in the lower part are closed with covers, in which glass branch pipes, having a contraction in the lower part, are installed.
EFFECT: produced an efficient laboratory-scale plant for studying of heat transfer in a counterflow heat interchanger due to accuracy of determination of the flow temperature and speed, produced a cheaper descriptive construction.
