FIELD: laboratory experiments.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for studying the processes of evaporation and condensation of atmospheric moisture on a water surface, in particular to installations for conducting educational classes and can be used to create an approximate model of moisture exchange between air and water environments, which determines many phenomena, including hydrodynamic and convective processes, characteristic of seas, oceans and other bodies of water that exchange moisture with the air. To increase the reliability of the results of laboratory experiments, an installation for simulating moisture exchange processes between air and water environments, containing a climatic chamber with a front wall of sliding windows, in which there is a measuring cuvette with a water surface open to the atmosphere, installed on a thermostatic tank, regulators, with the help of which the temperature and humidity of the air, the temperature of the water are set and maintained, and there are also sensors for determining the temperature and humidity of the air with which the water interacts in the measuring tank, an infrared sensor for measuring the temperature of the surface of the water and a wind generator of the air flow with a regulator of its speed and direction for mixing are introduced layer of air at the surface of the water in a measuring container.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the results of laboratory experiments when modeling moisture exchange processes between the surface of water and air under natural conditions.
