FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for automation of process of protection of turbomachines from rotor overspeeds. Proposed system contains gear wheel, several protection chamber channels, each including speed sensor and protection signal shaper, test signal source and selector switch for in-turn connection of test signal source to one of protection channels. Invention is aimed at increasing reliability of protection as a whole in case of failure or false operation of any protection element and providing possibility of checking any protection channel by testing without stopping of turbomachine. For this purpose system is additionally furnished with electromagnetic protection spool unit, input of each electromagnetic protection spool being connected with output of corresponding protection signal shaper, and outputs of electromagnetic protection spools form common output of unit of electromagnetic protection spools according to logic voting circuit.
EFFECT: improved reliability of protection.
