FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: multi-channel protection system of a turboset comprises a geared wheel, several channels of protection, every of which comprises a sensor of rotation frequency and a generator of a protection signal, a source of a test signal and a switch of alternate connection of a test signal to one of protection channels, a unit of electromagnet valves. The proposed multi-channel system of turboset protection implements the logic voting circuit "(n-1) out of n", besides. the required quantity of protection channels is determined by the ratio: where n - quantity of protection channels identified as an integer number, which satisfies the given ratio; pp - value of pressure of working fluid supplied to hydraulic inputs of electromagnetic valves from a control system pump; ppl min pressure value in a line of protection as the protection system actuates, required for provision of reliable closure of stop valves of the turbine.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify a system of turboset protection and process of its manufacturing, to increase reliability of its operation.
