FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: bearing unit comprises housing, bushing provided with the flanges and secured inside the housing against rotation, roll bearing, and lids whose thrust face is in a contact with the thrust face of the outer race of the bearing. Both of the flanges of the bushing are made of the outer L-shaped members with inner thread on the horizontal members which engage the outer thread of the lid. The bushing is made of two members butt-welded in the plane perpendicular to its axis. The housing in the zone of the weld is provided with the ring groove throughout the periphery of the bushing.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
